At Sinc Kitchens, we're proud to supply quality kitchen products to our customers. These terms and conditions set out how we work with you - what you can expect from us, and what we ask in return.
We've written them to be as clear and straightforward as possible. If you have any questions at any point, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service Team who will be happy to help.
1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
"Sinc" or "we" or "us" means Sinc Kitchens Ltd.
"Customer" or "you" means the person, company or business purchasing goods from Sinc.
"Goods" means any products ordered by the Customer from Sinc, including kitchen doors, cabinets, panels, accessories and associated products.
"Order" means a confirmed order for Goods placed by the Customer.
"Delivery Date" means the date agreed between Sinc and the Customer for delivery of the Goods.
2. Placing an Order
All orders are made to measure and manufactured specifically for you. Once your order has been confirmed and enters production, we're unable to cancel or make changes without cost implications - so please take care to check all details carefully before confirming.
We'll do our best to notify you promptly if any products within your order are unavailable. In that situation, we'll either suggest a suitable alternative or fulfil the remainder of your order, and work with you on the outstanding items.
A quotation provided by Sinc is valid for 30 business days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to adjust pricing after this period to reflect any changes in material or production costs, and we'll always let you know in advance if this applies.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery Arrangements
We'll agree a Delivery Date with you when your order is confirmed. We'll do our best to meet this date - but please be aware that, while we take every care to deliver on time, delivery dates are not guaranteed.
If there are circumstances outside our reasonable control - such as supplier delays, severe weather, industrial action or other unforeseen events - which prevent us from delivering on the agreed date, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative. We won't be liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of late or delayed delivery in these circumstances.
3.2 What Happens if Delivery is Late
We understand how important your delivery is. If your order is delayed beyond the agreed Delivery Date, here's what you can expect from us:
- We'll contact you proactively to keep you updated and provide a revised delivery date.
- If a delay is caused entirely by us, and not by a Force Majeure event or circumstances outside our control, we'll work with you to agree a fair and reasonable resolution. This may include priority rescheduling or a credit against future orders, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- We're unable to accept liability for any indirect or consequential losses arising from delivery delays, including installation costs, labour charges, or loss of business.
Please note: Sinc cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from delays caused by third-party couriers, transport disruptions, or events beyond our control.
3.3 Access and Unloading
Please ensure that safe, clear access is available at the agreed delivery location. You'll be responsible for any costs or delays arising from restricted access or failure to receive the delivery at the agreed time.
We may, at our discretion, deliver your order in separate instalments. Each instalment may be invoiced separately.
4. Inspecting Your Order - Damaged or Missing Items
4.1 Checking on Delivery
We take great care in packaging and despatching your order, but we know that occasionally things can happen in transit. We ask that you inspect your goods as soon as they're delivered and check the delivery note carefully.
If you notice any visible damage to packaging or goods at the point of delivery, please mark this clearly on the delivery note before signing. This helps us investigate and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
4.2 Reporting Damaged or Missing Items
If you discover that any items are damaged, missing, or don't match your order, please let us know as soon as possible and within 7 days of receiving your delivery. We're not able to accept liability for issues raised outside of this timeframe, so prompt reporting really does help us to help you.
To help us deal with your claim promptly, please contact us by email at aftersales@sinckitchens.com and include:
- Your order or invoice number.
- A description of the issue - what's damaged or missing.
- Clear photographs of any damaged goods, including packaging where relevant.
- The quantity of items affected.
We'll acknowledge your report and aim to resolve it as quickly as we can - whether that's a replacement, a credit, or another agreed solution.
4.3 Timeframes for Reporting
We ask that all damage or shortage claims are raised within 7 days of delivery. Unfortunately, we're unable to accept claims submitted after this period, as goods will be assumed to have been received in good condition.
Similarly, if any items are believed to have been lost in transit, meaning not delivered at all, please notify us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
4.4 Items Returned
We're unable to accept returns of goods that are in accordance with your order without prior written agreement. If you believe goods need to be returned for any other reason, please contact your Area Sales Manager or our Customer Service Team first - we'll always try to find a practical solution.
Where returns are agreed, a handling charge may apply, and goods must be returned in their original packaging in a resaleable condition. Made-to-measure, drilled, or modified goods cannot be returned.
5. Product Quality & Warranty
All Sinc products are covered by a 6 Year Limited Warranty, giving you confidence in the quality and durability of everything we supply.
The 6-year warranty period runs from the original invoiced date of supply. Where replacement or free-of-charge goods are issued, the warranty period for those items still commences from the original invoice date - it is not reset or extended.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, excessive heat or moisture, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow our care and maintenance guidelines.
To make a warranty claim, please email aftersales@sinckitchens.com with your order details, a description of the issue, and photographs where possible. We'll acknowledge your claim and keep you updated throughout.
6. Price & Payment
Prices are as quoted or as set out in Sinc's current price list at the time of delivery. All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be applied at the applicable rate.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing on reasonable written notice if there are significant increases in material or production costs between the date of your order and delivery. Where this applies, you will be notified in advance.
7. Credit Terms
Credit terms are available to approved account customers. Details of your agreed credit terms will be set out in your account application and confirmed in writing.
Where no credit facility has been agreed in writing, all orders must be paid for in full prior to production commencing. We're unable to begin manufacturing your order until payment has been received and cleared.
If your account falls outside agreed credit terms, we reserve the right to place a hold on outstanding orders until all overdue balances have been settled in full. Accounts that persistently operate outside agreed terms may be returned to a proforma, payment before production, basis.
Sinc Kitchens reserves the right to review and, where necessary, withdraw agreed credit facilities at any time. Where this happens, we'll notify you as promptly as possible and work with you to manage any orders already in progress.
8. Title & Risk
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership of the goods remains with Sinc Kitchens until we have received payment in full for all outstanding amounts on your account.
Until ownership passes to you, we ask that you store goods separately and in a way that keeps them clearly identifiable as Sinc's property.
9. Our Liability
Sinc Kitchens will always aim to do the right thing if something goes wrong. However, our liability to you in respect of any order is limited to the original purchase price of the goods in that order.
We're not liable for any indirect or consequential losses - including loss of profit, installation costs, or loss of business - arising from any issue with your goods or their delivery, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
10. Events Outside Our Control
We'll always do our best to fulfil your order on time and in full. However, if we're unable to do so due to circumstances genuinely beyond our reasonable control - including but not limited to severe weather, fire, flood, industrial action, supplier failures, or other Force Majeure events - we won't be liable for any resulting delay or failure to deliver. We'll notify you as soon as reasonably possible and work with you to find the best way forward.
11. General
These terms and conditions, together with your confirmed order, constitute the entire agreement between Sinc Kitchens and you in respect of your order. They supersede any previous discussions or representations.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order.
